Within the framework of the fiduciary management of the assets, ecological, ethical and social aspects are taken into account in the investment decisions, in addition to the achievement of a return in line with the market. As an investor with a long-term investment horizon, the UWP Collective Foundation supports, within the scope of its influence, a sustainable orientation of the economy. Intact economic, ecological and social systems are the prerequisite for pension funds to be able to achieve adequate returns on their assets in the distant future. The UWP Collective Foundation bases its consideration of sustainability principles on the widespread pillars of ESG - Environment, Social and Governance. The guidelines of the Swiss Association for Responsible Investment (SVVK - ASIR) serve as a model.
